I just got a new phone with a new number only 12 hours ago and this is the first phone call I get. And I haven't been on any websites to buy anything since I got this new phone/number. How the f*ck do these scammers get a new number so quickly? Has to be a scam. I used to get calls like this on my previous number that I had for over 15 years. The call actually ended short before I could grab my phone to see what the number was, so whoever it is they didn't even wait for it to go to vmail. These are all marks of a spammer or scammer.
'I just got a new phone with a new number'-THERE'S your issue. Your 'new' number was probably someone's 'old' one that they got rid of. The other thing it could be is someone was robo-dialing a sequence of numbers and your 'new' number was part of it
4/9/17 called @ 9:17Rang once and hung up.I have heard of scams where you call back the number and for calling back they charge you for the call. hasn't happened to me but I've heard about it. I wonder if this is the same scam
Barely 1 ring and they hung up.As someone mentioned above, if you call back you'll get a recording about Reward Redemption (something like "press 1 to redeem or press 2 to end the call").They obviously rely on a call back.....bottom line is that it's a scam.

Received a call from 510-228-4735 on my cell phone. Caller ID displayed Oakland, CA. Phone rang twice, caller didn't leave a message. I didn't answer & blocked the number.

I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
