This is a phone number from the organized crime unit. A friend was arrested and called me from this number with their one call.

I got several calls on my cell phone from this number asking for Chris.

I received two calls from this number this morning at 3:44am. I missed the first call and they did not leave a message. The second call came about a minute later and it was a man askign for Heather. Obviously it wasnt me!

Fist calls came @1:45am & 1:50am on my boyfriends phone last week. Second time he answered and someone just kepts saying hello. Today @ 12:30 pm I get a call and they hang up when I answer. We have different phone numbers. I called back and no answer. Internet say this is a Travis County Patrol Unit???? How do we find out what's up?

Calls from 512-854-0000 are indeed from Travis County, TX law enforcement. However, it could be coming from any one of several departments within the system from Probation to the County Jail. My guess is that they keep the caller ID display neutral for privacy or security reason. I'm a Mom who just got "the call." To all you young people out there: STAY OUT OF TROUBLE! PARENTS HAVE ENOUGH GOING ON WITHOUT OUR KIDS GETTING INTO LEGAL SHENANIGANS! DO NOT FALL UNDER THE SPELL OF PEER PRESSURE, AND FOLLOW YOUR GUT WHEN YOU KNOW CERTAIN BEHAVIORS ARE WRONG!

There must be several departments and even locations under the 'umbrella' of this phone number - I got a call that displayed this number and yes it's from Travis County, but in my case it's from the office on Airport Blvd (Central Office which is pretty huge, it houses several departments)where I'm dealing with Justice Court Precinct 2 over some traffic tickets. 5501 Airport Blvd. Austin, Texas 78751 I had spoke to someone there a couple of hours prior to the call, and in what was a pleasant surprise she was calling me back to let me know that I needed to get down there a little sooner than previously discussed if I want to catch it before it becomes a warrant. They'll tell you that sometimes over the phone but I was impressed she actually called me back to tell me - most of the time they let you learn 'the hard way' if you know what I mean. She was nice to deal with, left a voice message, and sounded more like she was concerned about helping me out instead of sounding like she was trying to intimadate me like they often will try to do. I thought it was nice of her to call!

travis county police super number. in my case it was from the probation office asking me to verify someone's address. don't call this number as whoever calls you from this number is really calling from a different number.

This was a call back for me as I requested a copy of my marriage license. I have to pay for it and they were calling for form of payment. No worries

Received a call from this phone # November 06, 2008. Tried to return the call and no one would answer.......
