remove my # from your system

Just got a call from this number a few minutes ago. Went through my friends numbers and couldn't identify who had called so I googled the number and found all these comments. I didn't make it to the phone on time so didn't answer. They left no message. Thank you for this site! It seems they have been bothering people for years!!!

This is annoying and unwanted calls from Quebec. . .

Alot of Us companies now use Canadian Marketers to make calls for them. It is cheaper than in the US, I worked in one of them in Montreal for Direct Satelite Televison and all the calls were to or from the US. It was all automated from the office in New York. The calls were dialed directly from a computer and we had no way of knowing who was being called. If you want to get off the list you will have to find out who they are calling for and then call the US base company to get removed from the list. Thats the way it is sorry.

I rec'd a call from this number at 9 pm on a weekday. My daughter has been ill, so she was sleeping in our bedroom. Luckily, I had my ringer off. I saw the light flashing and tried to answer. The wonderful people at this number decided to hang up on the 3rd ring to us, so I didn't get to talk to anyone. I tried calling back and it was busy. Then, I looked up the number and it is a Canadian company with the name Opinion Search. Go figure, probably US company getting a Canadian company to do their dirty work! I don't think the harrassment laws would apply-if they do, please let all know. Anyway, thanks someone out there for posting the website, so we can be added to their do not call list. Hopefully, that will help! Just keep reading down the postings, it will be there.

J'ai aussi reçu un appel de ce numéro dans ma boîte vocale. Des bruits de fonds comme si la personne est soit en voiture ou autres sons. La personne ne laisse pas de message. Au lieu de retourner l'appel j'ai vérifié sur google et je vois que vous aussi vous avez été contacté. Ne pas faire suite àa leurs appels selon moi.

I got a call from this number, the man asked for Susan, told him there was no one here by that name. He knew the city and state I live in and said I sounded like Susan who lives in the same city and state, said to me, weren't we together at ...(couldn't understand where and asked him to repeat it, still couldn't understand) I asked him his name and he said it was Peter. He was insistant that my number was the same as Susan and then said there must be two of you and hung up. I atill am thinking about this call, it was very weird. ANyone else get a call like this from 514-288-0420?

GrammAr is not spelled with an "e" before the second "r." You should not be preaching when you're no better with the English language than Robin is!
