Man claimed I had 3 Citizen Bank accounts with $25k in them from 10 yrs ago that I didn't claim. I never used Citizens bank. He says his name was Doug working at UPRS Group. He was going to send a form in the mail to sign and the money would be sent in 4 months. When I call the number back it doesn't connect.

Guy called my house saying someone who doesn't even live in my house saying there was on claim check is running a major scam would like the number reported he says his name is doug

I received a phone call from a man with this number claiming to have a check of a possible family member who is deceased in the amount of $8000. When I asked him how he got my cell #, he said "What's the difference? What do you think your number is private or something?" He knew my name. I called the police who directed me to contact the DA's office. They have a department that handles this sort of thing. (attempted fraud)

My brother inlaw got this call - SCAM! WHo to tell?

Got the same type of call. When I told him I will do my due diligence on him and his company, he became very aggressive.
