these class a jerks have called 4 times today and it's driving me nuts! Why can't these jerks be stopped? What they are doing is illegal!!! Stats barred means they have no right to collect. The original lender wrote off the loan years ago yet these [***] are allowed to harrass people and refuse to listen when they are told the person they want isn't there so they can collect money for themselves? it's not right! what legal company keeps thirty different phone numbers with which to harrass people? not one I know.

Why do you guys let them get to you like this? I personally find it rather amusing. This company is the "old" grandpa" of debt collection. Pathetically trying to collect on debts so old the parties involved probably don't remember. If someone isn't going to pay their debt after 5, 7, or 10 years, they most likely don't care about it anyways. Just laugh at them. If they dont come after you within 2 years your safe anyways. And even then they wont unless it's into the tens of thousands.The only power they have is the fear and frustration they can cause you, so ignore them and laugh at them. If the phone calls are bothering you then change your number or just get a cell phone. with a private number.

Got a call from this number on April 17th 2013 over the noon hour.Some one left a message saying our account is in good standing FUNNY we DON'T have an accountwith this collection agency or any other.This company has been calling our home for 4 years on and off usually heavy for awhileand then back off for a month or 2 have told them we are not associated with who they are looking for but they continue to call. They have called under various phone numbers , They our numberis good and listed in the book yet they continue to call looking for someone else.My wife tried to end the call but could not . We have ended up at our expense through no fault of our own having to spend over $ 175.00 in call blocking software to protect our number as well as our business reputation . We don't have an account with this company we are on the do not call list so there is no business association they have no reason to call here. As far as I am concerned this company has blinders on , (or hire morons) on or the other. lets face it it costs money to run a business , even a crapy on like Aktive kapital so who is funding this endevour must be themselves.

I just wish they would stop calling, I realize it's their job, but when you have spoken to the person that is in debt, then STOP CALLING!!! It IS HARASSMENT!! If a person chooses to still not pay a debt after being made aware....... Then SO BE IT!!! Unfortunately the debt will go up with interest and they will owe even more??!! But honestly calling and calling and calling, filling people's voicemail, being rude, (as some have stated, and I HAVE experienced rudeness before from debt collector 's) just upsets people.... I have no idea why I"m getting these calls, I am in good standing with all of my personal affairs, and I don't do business with just anyone on the phone. Yet these people insist on calling....for what exactly? Whatever you're selling, I'm not buying, and as of today I've registered my number on the 'do not call' list, so enjoy that. GOOD RIDDENCE.

Don't let them bother you and don't worry about them. They are vipers with no teeth. Bankruptcy and the statue of limitations makes it impossible for them to collect on any old debts. These are laws the government has put in place to relieve you of the obligation of debt and make it possible for you to get a fresh start. You don't have to feel guilty about owing anything which is the way these low lifes try to make you feel. Don't talk to them or argue with them at all about any debt, just hang up. Better yet, get Mr. Number, Blacklist Plus, etc. (they are free Blockers) and will block their numbers so you wont even hear your phone ring from them. You will have a record of their calls and when they call and if it is done after hours you are in a position to report and sue them. These people are parasites and scammers and are not unlike the salesman who trys to sell a car that he knows to be a lemon. Disgusting and deceitful human beings!
