The above comments are very helpful - particularly Smart Canuck & Retired telephone man.If the Statue of Limitations has run out the only action these collectors can take is intimidation and manipulation. Don't take their calls - block caller if possible - as last resort change your phone number. Do not respond to letters or any written correspondence.If somebody has the legal right to get money from you they would use the Court system - they wouldn't send threatening letters saying if you don't respond they will elevate your case to the next level.

I received a package from a rigging company in New York with my name and address but this phone number as my contact number.
Looking for a person (that was not me) about a legal matter.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.
