has left messages daily all this past week threatening that a file is open against me etc. Sounds like a machine voice and they never leave a company name or any other details, just ridiculous threats. Sounds like the usual spam scam

I have received numerous calls from these ***s. Won't give me the name of the company, but I did find out that they have my social security number....that's very scary to me. Said that they were calling about a debt from over 6 years ago. It's not on my credit report under all 3 agencies. It was settled. Very nasty people. Told me they would be coming to my home or place of employment if I didn't make arrangements to settle with them. I told them that I would be waiting for them.
Threat call that a procedure will be initiated against me if I do not call
Called a left a message asking for someone eles but instated that that person belonged to my number. I blocked the number.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.
