I got an error from my whatsapp. I had to keep up with the new. So I did that. Then I got this SMS with a code. I didn't bother about a stupid sms. Maybe that was normal. Well; I got called. I watched the screen while it stopped lighting up because the call ended. I didn't answer, I learned you shouldn't because it can cost you a lot of money. What is this?

I live in the U.S.A. This morning I received a call on my land line from this number. it sounded prerecorded and was in a language that I do not recognize. It repeated it's self a couple of times and then stopped. My mom says that she thinks it was Arabic.
