I'm hispanic just to give you an idea what the voice says is that "because you are a great customer of Walmart you will receive a Super gift" I hanged up immediately since a few time ago I received a call like this but from another number . The voice at that time says " The fortune chest have been open and you won 1000 dollars" and then instruct me to push one . I know that at that time I was a crazy but I was so innocent that I did it. And then nothing happened. After a while I knew that my ex husband was able to hear my voice messages and calls. How? I don't know. So I had to change my number and now when I received that call I realize that the voice was the same but different message . I hang up and turn of the phone immediately. If somebody can enlightened me about this. Do you think that to clone the phone he sent me this message? I really need help, I'm afraid and this guy is getting out of control. I can not believe he was capable of accessing my info just to listen my conversations and messages. I clearly tell him that I do not want anything with him but based on what happened he does not understand. Do you think they do this using a company or just by them self?

Don't know who keeps calling me

received call @ 8:45am Sunday. Didn't pick up (have seen number before). What I don't get is I'm on donotcall list.

I got this phone call at 1:30 in Madison, Wisconsin from 5739428989 phone number. I didn't pick it up. I thought was kind of strange. After reading this blog, I realized so many people got this call from the same number. I wonder how they get our phone numbers.

Sunday AM rec. a call from this # on my cel in Cottage Grove, WI. Female voice sounded like a recording. Spoke in Spanish & then hung up. No idea what she said.

Received a call on my cell from this number and all you hear is a someone speaking spanish and a casher drawer closing.

I used to get a LOT of these types of calls on my cell phone over the past couple of years. They've been cut down considerably since I started using my Google Voice phone number on all of my utility bills. NOW my cell phone isn't called, but I get the text message telling me that I have a voice mail. If I determine that the person calling me is a scam artist, I will immediately block that number in Google Voice and I will never hear from them again.Here is what is happening...Your utility companies (water, gas, electric, cable, garbage, etc) collect contact information from their customers and sell that list to their marketing "affiliates". Most of the time, you've agreed to allow them to do it when you sign up. If asked, they will assure you that they are only sharing with THEIR affiliates for the purposes of product research. Unfortunately, there is nothing stopping those affiliates from collecting this information and selling it to anyone who wants to buy a list.Comcast and Waste Management are the worst when it comes to sharing your personal information with others. Another source of problems come from signing up for those supermarket "loyalty" cards. You are essentially putting your phone number directly onto a call list yourself.If you want to keep your phone number clean, get a Google Voice account and use THAT number for all of your utility bills.
