Called my cell in TN today. have a special app that after I cancel the call it shows where its registered to, and that displayed MOUND NM WAGON. Now after reading these, I will be adding that number to a list I have that when they call my phone will never ring and they will get the message that the number is disconnected and no longer in service and I can go on about my day!
They called but didn't leave any messages and I didn't answer so now that I know they're a scam I'm going to block them .
received a call from this number today at 5:30pm , brooklyn, ny. i didnt pick up the phone, and they did not leave a message. tried calling back and got a busy signal.
I didn't answer as unless it is someone I know I don't answer. Said Mexico...I am on the do not call registry. What in the world, I read some of the other posts. Wow can't someone stop these idiots?
I received a call from an individual from this # 575 666 2884 stating he works for member credit services and works with all banks to reduce my APR to 6% and wanted my last four credit card # and expiration #. I told him well should have the info in front of you, which he did have the 1st 8 #'s just need the last. I advised him to give me his name, # business physical address then he hung up the phone. I contacted the credit card company and the FBI.
Called at 8:36 AM. I am in Portland, OR, but I have a Tampa, FL number, so not sure who they're targeting. No message left. I feel like I'm getting more of these lately, and I also feel like I've been using my Google+ creds to sign into third party sites (e.g. Kickstarter) lately (out of convenience). Wonder if these sites are getting my info from Google+ and then selling it.
