Just got a recording call saying my factory car warranty had expired. Um, I live in NYC and haven't owned a car in three years. Don't buy it!
got a call fromm this number. could not answer it. when i called it a recording came on saying in was no longer in service. How can a number that just called you be disconnected a minute later?
I've received at least a dozen calls from this company in the past 30 days. The last 3 times I have been transferred to an operator and been told that I have been removed, obviously not. They have never told me how they got my number, nor what extended warranty company they work for. They are calling my work cell phone number and I have no idea how on earth they got it. I work at a major dealership and we don't give out customer numbers to 3rd party companies; why would we as we don't make a dime off 3rd party warranties. Be careful as I have seen several 3rd party companies go out of business over the years, not to mention their shady business practices of "select" covered items and refrubished parts.Also, does anyone know how to make the calls stop?
This is my second notice that my car warranty is about to expire. I hung up at that point so as to not waste my cell phone time.
I just received this weird call from this (630) number when I went to answer the call no one answer. They just hung up. After I redial the # it appeared to be discounted. What the hell is going on? According to my log, has called 10 times since 2023, always a new caller ID, this one came up as TellCityHall but same number, and at 9:49pm ffs.
