There is no deception. We really are calling with incredible news. You'd be surprised how many people are in disbelief at being selected for such a great gift! Seeing as the definition of Incredible is "beyond credible" or unbelievable, it makes sense to say that "I have some incredible news for you!" We do also say that we are calling in regards to the entry form you had submitted at ______ event. Full disclosure is very important to us as a company. It is why we read from a script.
