Yes it does. The "Do Not Call List" confirms who you are and that this is your number. It is the greatest lead source telemarketers ever had. They have been calling off it for years.
The "Do Not Call List" is a joke. It does not stop unsolicited calls. Total waste of time. The most effective method is: Get an answering machine and don't answer your phone. People who have a legitimate reason for calling will leave a message.
THEY KEEP CALLING AND WHEN I DO PICK UP THEY SAY NOTHING AND DO ALL DAY LONG SO NOW I DO NOT PICKUP ANY CALLS IF I DO NOT KNOW WHO THEY ARE ? I HAVE RECEIVED IN THE PAST SO MANY SCAMS CALLS ANDTHE SSI CALLS BUT THEY LEAVE A MESSAGE AND THEN YOU KNOW IT IS TRUE THESE PEOPLE DO NOT LEAVEA MESSAGE
YES THE NUMBER THEY USE IS 603-835-3249 IT IS ALL A HOAX AND THEY LEAVE NO MESSAGE JUST BREATHESO MY ANSWERING MACHINE SHOWS THE LIGHT OF A MESSAGE AND NONE SO I DO NOT ANSWER ANYMOREOF THIS OR OTHER PHONE NUMBERS I HAVE GOTTEN IN THE PAST .MY FEELING IS IF SSI IS CALLING THEYLEAVE A MESSAGE FOR YOU.
