Yes it does. The "Do Not Call List" confirms who you are and that this is your number. It is the greatest lead source telemarketers ever had. They have been calling off it for years.
The "Do Not Call List" is a joke. It does not stop unsolicited calls. Total waste of time. The most effective method is: Get an answering machine and don't answer your phone. People who have a legitimate reason for calling will leave a message.
