legit call on fraud protection of my bank card as I tried to use it on a go fund me page out of the country

Called to alert me about my debit card information being stolen and used!

After reading on this site it had to do with fraud protection, I called this number right back. Sure enough, my debit card had been hacked. Lots of fraudulent charges in less than 24 hours. They marked them as fraud and ended my card so no more charges, plus connected me with my bank.

THE FRAUD PROTECTION SERVICE USED BY MY BANK TO PREVENT CARD SCAMS BY OTHERS ON YOUR ACCOPUNT. DEFINITELY A GOOD NUMBER TO ANSWER....THEY DO NOT CALL UNLESS SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY OCCURRED OR WAS ATTEMPTED. WILL ALWAYS NOTIFY WITHIN MINUTES IF THEY SHUT OFF YOUR CARDS ATM, DEBIT, CREDIT. MINE WAS ATTEMPTED ONLINE TRANSACTION (FRAUDULENT) FROM FRANCE. THEY IMMEDIATELY SHUT OFF CARD ANDI I HAVE NOW ORDERED NEW CARD FROM BANK. THEY ARE REAL LIFESAVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bank calling to confirm card usage

Received a call, I'm always skeptical about these calls. But I offered no information, and she had recent credit card transaction locations and amounts; asked if I had tried to use my card at X in a town 2.5 hours distant from my location. I said no and she explained that the charge had been turned down, and asked about other recent uses to confirm they were legit. Just because I now know my numbers are out, I will be asking for a new card. The service and call are legitimate and real.
