To be frank, we truly value their services, as we've greatly benefited from their collaboration. We'd highly recommend them to any entity, legal or otherwise, that requires the use of a different phone number each week and needs to make thousands of calls per day. This phone number keeps appearing on my caller ID everyday, numerous times a day. No voicemails ever being left. The number seems to call most between 2:00-4:00 PM EST. PRA Group, situated in Brockville, Ontario is the burdensome culprit! Lets just say I work in the legal realm and ran this phone number through some subscription-only databases and of course, it belongs to some shady, shifty debt collection agency who utilizes ethically questioned and morally unsound collection tactics. Not to mention that they also are attempting some illegal collecting efforts - at least in Ontario! They seem to be known for purchasing stale debts (no longer valid or recognized under law, or statute barred) from third parties and attempting to collect those to keep a piece of the pie, so to speak. Some of these stale debts were older than 15+ years! Another issue, even worse in my opinion, was their disrespectful tries to chase down widows of the deceased debtors who had these stale debts! Debts that had already been paid in full were suddenly being declared by PRA as unpaid, which they now owned, and wanted paid in full - AGAIN(??!!?). They are unable to provide verification of your so-called debt, cannot provide you with any sort of documentation (aside from the usual threatening letters demanding varying numerical values), and consistently fail to be able to validate the third party's information on you and/or on your supposed debt. I say take me to court then jerks - at least by way of my legal and procedural rights to full disclosure I'll finally be able to get and see ALL the information noted above plus more, or the judge will force PRA to produce it!!

Debt collection.. trying to get from 15 yrs ago! I thought it was illegal to hound for money after 10 yrs or longer!

PRA Group. Said they're trying to collect a debt from '91. Can't give any info on the debt. Laughed at them and hung up.

Scumbags that hassle widows over debts that are not their responsibility. Stats barred debts means they have zero legal entitlement to any payment.
