Received a phone message today from an investigator "John Richards," claiming he was hired today to conduct an investigation for a preliminary trial. His number came up as "private" on my caller I.D. He didn't provide any details or a call back number for himself. He gave me an attorney's name and phone number: William Clark 602-788-1096. I found the information on line about this being a scam and have since filed a report with the F.B.I. And have a call in to the Secret Service.
William Clark is a scam artist and piece of dog (you know what) Do not do business with this disgusting creature.
This is still going on!!! Same 2 guys names & got the call today regarding "Court Trial." That's ridiculous. Isn't anyone cracking down on these guys? This post started in 2008 & its the same Arizona info & we are now 7 years later!!
We are business & they tell you this is a formal notice of asset & liability investigation & they find out your info. via public lawsuit records. They pretend they are representing the other party & they wont leave you alone! They call, email & fax us regularly & are even pretending (?) to send something to the contractors state license board about us. They are trying to get us to settle for twice as much as the original lawsuit. It's crazy!
Got a call from a Steve Miller who identified himself as a detective working for William Clark investigating our company.Found previous history with him tied to this number (623) 465-9849 and some with this one (602) 482-2636 involving collection scams.
I received a call today, was told our company was being investigated by a William Clark at this phone number. The person who called Id'd themseleves as Rick Steele. This person would not give me any further info.
The spouse of one of my clients received a telephone call from this number, identifying a Superior Court case number and purporting to be a private investigator, "Mike Conrad", hired to investigate assets for an "Executor" "William Clark"; the caller attempted to obtain confidential data. The telephone number provides only a voice message for a William Clark, who will not return the calls. If you receive calls from this number, please file a consumer complaint form with the Office of the Arizona Attorney General, which is available online.
