Rubin & Rothman are a legit law firm/debt collector...just do a search for them on google...They call me about a bazillion times a day about settling my CitiBank credit card. Even after I spoke with a representative and have a settlement plan in process, they still call a million times a day...IF YOU DECIDE TO SETTLE YOUR CREDIT THROUGH RUBIN AND ROTHMAN...make sure you read over the paper work they send you and call them to make any changes...they'll try to tell you one thing on the phone and then trick you into doing something else...be careful

My Grandmom Nona is 89 years old and received a ny civil summons from Rubin & Rothman to appear in court. IN COURT for owing $300, at 89 years old and an income under 10,000 a year. These people at RR have such a greed that is makes them very unholy. These are not people, they are animals. They are inhuman and ice cold. They are abusive and violent. They threatened my 89 year old grandmom. She owed $300 debt, The amount RR claim is 5 times that amount. This is beyond illegal. RR is a fraud. These so called lawyers are nothing but ex criminals working on a commission. The ex criminals boss is an attorney so technically they are allowed to call it a LAW OFFICE. THATS LIKE running a hospital with a team of 25 doctors, and only one having a real medical degree. my nona kept this "debt" secret from me for a whole year. Nona runs to call me when ever there is trouble in the family. Nona avoided my eyes. Nona is a victim. How many more of you are there out there. Probably thousands. Noone is listening so we have to speak louder. I feel RR pick the people who are extremely innocent from con artist behavior. For example the elderly, the poor, the people with bad credit, the disabled. Anyone they can bully. they are bullies and they are not going to get away with this. I am going to try to find someone of high authority to help me in this matter. How do you make a deal with con artist people. The people who answer the phone are rude and taunt you to hang up on them. I have called time and time again for Nona's "original contract" from Capital one. I was put on hold and kept being ignored. Then i was threatened with "Grandmother better hire an attorney". Is this necessary??? I asked. The threats...Dont threaten my Grandmother, and by the way give me your grandma's number so i can harass the crap out of her. The girl giggled and said "My grandma is dead-Hee Hee Hee Hee".This is not a normal person. People care about people in the world I come from. I am educating Nona on proper bill collecting. Most Bill Collectors send you a detailed itemized bill. RR sends you their extremely inflated rate that is unjustified and not fair at all. Most bill collectors will go as far as to say if you dont pay we may have to take legal action against you maam. This should be the worst thing they could get away with saying. BUT RR they say things to make you want to hang up, they seem to NOT WANT TO WORK THINGS OUT. They are intent to see people not settle the matter. They seemed to enjoy watching desparate people who dont like to owe anyone money squirm at their mercy. They are honestly a cult of sick people if you ask me. Professional HEAD GAMERS, in the most sickest form you could imagine. They have to be stopped!!!! The ny state is allowing these people to place summons on people age 89 years old and disabled. This is a really twisted bunch of people these Rubin and Rothman individuals. Do not trust them , do not trust their lies. My Good people out there. Please Lets clean up our world and lets start small. Rubin and Rothman are a bunch of cockroaches and we need to exterminate guys like these legally. Wipe them off the payroll. Hit them in the pocket, the way they tried to hit my Nona. Such Lowlives. I am going to the highest court, until someone listens to what these people can get away with. Legalized Harassment and Abuse. It is unacceptable and I am not going to take it anymore. they call you 20x's threatening, harassing,and making things unbearable noticed the amount getting higher and higher. The 20 calls a day just kept coming. The abusive language is disgusting. My grandmom kept this secret from me, she was totally ashamed of herself. She finally told me about this several weeks ago. NO MORE SECRETS-NO MORE SHAME- they made my grandmom feel like a criminal. ITS TIME TO TURN THE TABLES!! signed not going to take it anymore

I agree with you about Rubin & rothman, I too am having trouble with them, they told me I have a judgement against when when I found that that was a lie, I did try to workout arrangements however they refused, I now have an attny and I do have a case against them, I think we all need to take out a class action suit against that collection agency, if you know how we can do that here is my e-mail address alien_littlebit@yahoo.com, your right we need to take a stand and fight back.Thanks, Janet
