These idiots keep calling from different numbers, most ending in 0000 and almost always with a caller ID of NAME NOT FOUND so I usually do not answer and they never leave a message. When I do answer they say they are Microsoft authorized technicians, indicate I have a fatal problem with Windows and want direct access to my computers (which they do not get since I do not believe them). Numbers are mostly spoofed when I attempt call back. Wish Microsoft could get involved and do something to eliminate this BS form a scam.

They called me today. Thick Indian accent. This time claiming to be calling from the US Government threatening tax evasion prosecution if i didnt pay a small fee of 300 dollars to clear up the issue. Just happenes to have my aorhorn handy from this weekend's game. Hope hes deaf now

I too gotna call from this number. Came up United States. The caller claimed there was a signal coming from my computer. An amazing situation considering the computer was off. As soon as my husband got on the phone he hung up

Reading your comments sounds like a guy that called me last year for my computer problems with windows. Indian accent but I told him if there was a problem my husband would fix it. He said it needed to be fixed now and wanted me to give him access to my computer that was off. He didn't like it.He called back again same thing I called him on it. Called him a liar it's a scam. No no I really need to fix your computer. LOL I quit answering calls I don't recognize. This one I just happened to pick up in hopes they quit calling.

New scam from this number today!! In the past I've had the Windows calls from this number, but this time they said it was from a bank in my area that I do not deal with. She said that there they detected an unauthorized payment on my account and asked if I authorized a transaction for $xxx. I said no and then she asked if I knew a person. I said no and then she said that she just needed some information so she could reverse the payment and get me that money back. I got suspicious and asked where she was calling me from again. She repeated the bank and I then asked her why they were calling my and not my actual bank about the payment since I don't deal with you. She said that she knows I don't deal with them, that I deal with another bank, and she named another bank from that I don't deal with either. I said no I don't deal with that bank and then she hung up. Phone calls to both banks afterwards confirm no payment took place. Don't give out banking information over the phone unless you called them! Always be careful!

Got a call and they said I was having trouble with my Windows operating system. I said it wasn't their business. They then asked if I had a Windows system. I said you should know, right. I asked him to not call me back and he hung up.
