I was receiving calls weekly for well over a year asking to clean my ducts. I told them I lived in an apartment, so didn't have ducts, but they continued to call every week. When I said you called me last week and I told you I live in an apartment, he told me I was lying. Then about 6 months ago I gave them an address (which wasn't mine) and set up an appointment. They were mad I sent them on a wild goose chase, but the calls stopped.
Duct cleaning scam. I typically just let them come in then assault them... There's no other way to deal with these scammers as they call daily. I beat up 2 guys already... You may think it's crazy, but they call every day and when you tell them not to call, they actually swear at you!!!!
Scammers from India. If they call, just tell them to come to another address. These duct cleaning calls don't stop otherwise. As another person said, these are famous and the scam has been going for years so I am not sure why they haven't been caught. They also provided a fake name of another company which when I called they said(in perfect English, not with thick Indian accent) they are not associated with them and have been receiving the same "check" calls from others as their name is being used by these scammers to appear legitimate.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
