Just got a call from that number and something/someone told me to Google it. I can't believe there the number was on the first hit was this blog. I kept saying hello. hello an then I heard the line disconnect.
I have gotten 2 calls from this number but don't answer it and of course they don't leave a msg. I am not in the wedding business, I don't buy drugs from Canada, I don't shop at Costco and I don't take Webber Naturals Digestive Enzymes. Probably some scam artist trying to find out if it is a valid number.
This was my first call from them. I too do not shop Costco, am not in wedding industry and do not take digestive enzymes. Did not leave a message.
Just got a missed call from this numb. What's troubling to me is that I never give out my cell num on anything but I just used on an online job application site
I received a call which sounded like it came from Guest Equipment Leasing and Loans. It sounded like a pre-recorded message or a man reading a script to me, thanking me for my business. Neither my husband nor I have rented equipment nor are seeking a loan regarding renting equipment. I hung up after the call came in, and performed a Comcast star 69 caller ID, followed by a Comcast star 57 trace on the call. The call came in while I was eating dinner. After dinner, I reported the call to the FTC as a Do Not Call List violation. I do not know a soul who has a 647-571 area code and exchange. I live in Virginia. I understand that this exchange is found in Toronto Canada. I've never been to Toronto. I been only to Ontario and Quebec-- and that was in 2010. My trip to did not even remotely involved the leasing or the renting of any kind of equipment. I have no idea about from where this [***] obtained my phone number! I do not personally know any Canadians or have any contact with people who live in Canada. My husband's trip to Canada involved a university speaking engagement related to his profession; my trip was there for pleasure as a tourist-- and to see the science museum. I have no idea why this caller had my phone number, nor do I know who may have provided it to him or her.
