This is a spam number trying to take money from you, be careful!

A woman called from "Famtel", claiming to be calling on behalf of President's Choice Financial MasterCard and read her sales pitch. Pitch sounded decent and was well delivered, but when she asked for my info, I was very suspicious. I mean you are claiming to sell services to protect me from fraud and on behalf of my credit card company, but you don't have my info?? Anyhow, when I asked her how I know it is actually PC requesting my info, she told me that I could look at the website at Credit Alert. However, contact info on the site was completely different and there was no mention of Famtel. I also called Credit Alert, who had never heard of them, and was very concerned about someone offering their services. I then called PCFinancial, they also had never heard of them and said that they would never ask for any info from calling their own customers! Lastly, I called the number back and somehow got the same agent, who then when straight into her sales pitch all over again. I interupted her to let her know I had contacted the other companies and she decided to transfer me to another agent. The other agent claimed to have no idea why these companies did not know who they were and tried to offer me the service again, then decided it best to remove my number. I informed her that I recorded the call and reported their company.

Aggressive sales tactics, wouldn't take I'm not interested as an answer.
