So that's who called! I just cancelled the Credit Protection on my card, so this department has been flagged to contact me & talk me into it again, it seems. They left no message.
I called the strange number back (it's a Toronto number) and a taped answer indicated that it's a client survey co. Called SQM Group. Judging from the answers above and the fact that I had called the financial services of Canadian Tire yesterday, I concluded that it's a company that works with them to survey the quality of service.
I wonder about what's weird I thought you could call anywhere in the world from any given number?
Just rejected a call from this number, since It's not known to me and am not expecting any calls from out of my area at this time.I did however just require customer service from CanTire only yesterday, guess they wanted to survey me.
Go to SQM web site they have a do not call section where you can enter your number or call their 1 800 number , very pleasant and removed my number right away. Canadian tire were less than helpful
