Called asking if we had home repairs this summer - wanted to come over to do a free estimate. Sounds shady - may be a gimmick to enter your home!!Even after I told that we have no repairs this summer they continue to call us.

Many calls from this number lately. Caller ID says Directory Assistance. Always a very aggressive salesman wanting to come over and give me a free estimate on remodeling. When questioned about the caller ID, said it was a "computer glitch". I think this is related to all the "California Call" ID that come from numerous numbers all over the state. All about remodeling. I've had to block dozens of numbers. Really annoying as they call constantly. Even when blocked, the phone rings once and then disconnects the call.

You should block the number. It's a spoofed call that comes from dozens of different companies. If you don't have a newer system, it's worth it to get one. My new phone can block hundreds of numbers. Unfortunately, I may be reaching the limit. The bad calls are relentless and our number is a Do Not Call number. Doesn't mean a thing now.

Let them come and give you a estimate, Before setting a time call your local enforcement and tell them of this unlicensed contractor. They will be happy to come by plain clothed and if this company ?? gives a estimate of over $700 in Ca. The badge will come out and take this sorry A$$ed thief away

I received a call today from this aggressive caller and I told him I was busy, but did not bother looking at caller ID. I called Verizon and they suggested to not call these numbers back, because it legitimizes your number and you end up having more problems. I suggest we call our elected officials and attorney generals so they can enforce existing laws on harassment, do-not-call listings, and prosecute; and/or reinforce existing laws. Our cell phone companies have an obligation to protect our privacy and provide software to aid in filtering, not just blocking (that's too late - they already called), false numbers. Also file a complaint with your local cell phone carriers, city, county, state, and Federal agencies that oversee or have authority over telephone communications.

Said he was from a courier service looking to deliver some legal documents for an employee. And employee who hasn't worked for us for SEVEN years! just the fake number alone was enough to tip me off.

Received a call from this number (on my caller id). Some guy said it was a recorded message and called me by name saying that some documents were undeliverable to one of my relatives and I needed to contact this relative immediately do the documents could be signed. If not further action would be taken. He left the number 855.660.5940 as a call back number. I checked the number on the caller id and it came back as a number for a laundromat in Palo Alto, CA. Is this a scam?
