Just to be clear, these are not wackos, they are dangerous scam artists using every underhanded trick at their disposal to get your money. And telecoms CAN do something about it if they wanted to... but they make considerable money from these con artists and continue to resist efforts to stop unsolicited telemarketers and robocallers. This can only be stopped at the regulatory level. Make sure your state and fed representatives know you want this stopped now.
I can tell you Verizon lets these calls go through more than anyone. Others with Sprint, T Mobile and others get very little of this.I think Verizon must sponsor a lot of telemarketers for the money. they done care. They want you to purchase the "block caller" options.

Hello ... I'm with the people who left a message about this number (Thank you!) ... I am on the" donotcall" list and it hasn't helped me at all as far as I know ... I have blocked this number thanks to these posts ... There is a saying: "Misery likes company" ... It is helpful to know that I have not been singled out ... I was able to speak once with one of the gentlemen who called from a different number ... Instead of being hostile I told him that he was now in my living room and was not invited ... He actually apologized and hung up ... It was worth a try and that time it worked (Of course, that won't work in all instances nor in robocalls) ... Just try not to let them get you down ...
