Some sort of scam. Asked for someone else in voicemail. Did not identify company name. They call saying it is very important that your attorney of record gets in touch with them because this is a serious matter but they dont say what. Enter their # on an online payday loan website, that way they get some spam phone calls too :)

I got a call from unknown from someone who seemed to have a possible Nigerian accent (I just know it was not a US or UK accent) said his name was Daniel Stevens and was asked to call an Attorney at: 661-347-6108 so I asked whom I should ask for and was told Alance Makim ... so I called the number and a person answered with the name of Lance Martin (who also seemed to have an India or something like it accent). I said I was told to call this number and am not sure what they wanted and he said is this "so and so" with the ss# ending in the last 4 of xxxx. I said I am sorry but I do not give out any personal information about myself so he said ok then we do not wish to speak to you. I have had this happen since I filled out a request online for a business loan and I will never fill out anything online of this type again, I should have known better in the first place so now I am enduring calls I believe to be scams trying to get my personal information.

One more call gets them sent to my attorney general's office. This is ridiculous.

I got the same unknown number that kept coming up on my caller id. I answered it this morning at about 9:30 and this man who I couldn't understand said he needed me to call him back. I said if it's an urgent business matter you will talk to me now, and hung up. Then he called back at least 7 times. Left one message and threatened me! I called back and let them know that I will be contacting my attorney and that my attorney will be contacted about the prank calls and this scam. Then, they hung up. Hopefully this is the end of them!! :)

i received the same type of calls as above messages however the number was from 661-240-9185 and said his name was lance martin after i gave information requested i found out that this was a scam. i spoke again to mr lance martin and asked for court papers and he stated that i can not get paper work from courts until the money is paid back. i contacted the courts in california and i found out that i do not have any case in the state of california. i had contacted ,my bank and canceled my card. lance martin also offered me my money back and at that point a red flag hit and i said why would you refund me my money if this is legit.
