A man who speaks broken English at best called and asked about the year my home was built, bedrooms/bathrooms & Square footage. He kept saying Do you know the year your home was built? And I said, Yes! (Well I do! There's no way that I am telling him anything but I answered his question) He asked several times and when I asked what company he worked for I was told 9$L:O%94toutr4ijg! And that they were located in Flore-reet-da. NO further information would be provided to protect the employees. If it wasn't a scumbag job then they would not have to be protected. He is not in Florida, he's in a call center in a deep dark dungeon outside the USA where folks of his caliber hang out.I was told that they would have their folks call me by dialer, robot and god only knows what else to offer me the BEST POSSIBLE insurance rates. I kept asking for a supervisor and finally got a guy sitting beside him that was as accomplished as he was in the art of the English language, he did however understand the concept of 'spelling' and was able to tell me that the name of the company was I, n, s, u, r, a, n, c, e, C, a, r, e, & C, e, n, t, r, a, l.I finally was wished a 'goot day' for the last time and I was hung up on.What a scam, some rich [***] has these poor folks calling a country that they will never see trying to sell something that they have no real concept of. They probably have hut insurance, lol.Yes I am ill, can you tell by my wording? In a way I feel sorry for these folks but they may have the best paying job around, you never know. Maybe they are in Florida but if so they are fresh off the ship.Either way, learn to take no for an answer and don't repeat yourself 8 times about robot dialers and 4 about not giving location. And the best advice that I could give then is to HANG UP ON FOLKS LIKE ME!
Call from a guy I could not understand due to broken English called about "Eensurance". I asked to be put on do not call list. Very persistent. 701-491-7831
This number calls about every night around 7:30pm . There is never anyonethat answers when I call it back . Thisnumber is a Scam Call - so don't everanswer it .
I want to know just what good the do not call registry is they keep calling, i called back, could not understand the jerks they speak with a heavy accent, next time they call i will not be nice,
I have been getting calls from these Jack wagons for about a week now, and several times during the day. I either don't answer it or I decline it. No messages left, and I will not return the call. If it was important, or someone I know, they would have left a message.
You can play the whack-a-mole game of blocking these numbers one-by-one, only to have the companies change their number and call again, or you can use tactics to make their business model permanently nonviable. Here's what I do:1) Always pick up the phone when it rings - if we are running away, the terrorists win...2) Play along with whatever they are hawking, giving phony personal interest if asked for it. In this case, they promised to get me lower auto insurance on a '98 Nissan I've never owned, but use for punking these folks.3) If the call is a phishing call to get leads for another entity (in this case they promised to put me in contact with actual insurance brokers), when the agents call, waste as much of their time as possible, get information on their company, and file a BBB complaint against them (" Unethical Sales Practices" for using a service that breaks the law by blatantly violating the National Do-Not-Call Registry. You are signed up, right...?).This takes some time, but ultimately is a more permanent solution than playing the call-block game. Plus, it is satisfying and actually great fun...
Answered call, no one on line or no one talking.Keep getting these calls, no one there or they don't leave any voicemail.
