Company that sends codes to people who have lost their password or something. If this number calls you, someone is trying to change a password or some other identifier. If it wasn't you, someone is hacking one of your accounts.
For me at least, this was a legitimate call, providing a PIN to continue setting up an online account, thus verifying that I was actually the person whose email and phone number had just been entered on my screen.
Got a call at 2:11 am. Only a scammer would call someone at that time. Only gave a code, repeated code then said goodbye. It is illegal to call someone at that time of morning. Also got a call from same number the evening before giving a code, repeated code then said goodbye.
Has anything happened as a follow up to this cal ? Just happened to me
