I also purchased a call blocker device and it was the best $60 I ever spent. If I am home to see the caller and I don't want future calls, I block it immediately, which is what I did when these people call, otherwise I block it manually. And if it is an area code that I know no one from, I block the area code also. Today, I received a call from another number but using a different line (last four digits different) and since I had blocked the area code, it stopped it right away. I will now block this area code also. I have a cell and if I knew someone from this area code, I would have them call on my cell, Problem solved. I also turned off my answering machine. As far as the donotcall list, I firmly believe it should be that, DO NOT CALL, I don't want to take a survey, I don't want to listen to political nonsense and I am very selective to whom I donate. I get 6 - 8 calls a day from Central Research at 727-819-9536. When I answer, there is either no one there, or I can hear them laughing and breathing, then they hang up. When I try to call the number back, I get a busy signal. Last night, after they called several times during the day, they called twice a few minutes before 10:00 PM after I had already gone to bed. These are prank calls, and bordering on harassment. If they continue, I will be contacting my state's Attorney General to see if something can be done. From posting here, I will be contacting the FCC to file a complaint and will also call 727-819-2217 to see if they can stop these calls.

I keep getting calls from this number and no one is on the line. I have called them twice now (727 819-2217). The first time they said they would take me off the list - but I started getting them again. This is the second time I had to call and they said the same thing. Fat Chance - Why are these psople allowed to do this - my number is supposely on the general "do not call list" but that seems worthless -- These people should be required to pay at least $1 per call, that would stop it.

Despite being blocked (they get cut off after one ring) they continue to call. I laugh so much since they are not getting through and wasting their time. I am now sending many of these complaints posted here to the attorney general office in Florida. When you call the number back, it rings a minimum of 40-50 times so they have their system blocking incoming calls not to be answered.

I work there you havent the slightest clue what your talking about. Theres 2 18 year olds who work there the rest are between 21-60

Wouldn't it be nice if you could reach through the phone line grab whoever by the neck pull them through and just whip their [***], especially if they woke my baby that I've been trying to put to sleep for the last hour.

Several calls a night from Central Marketing. VERY ANNOYING no one there to tell them to stop calling. I am on do not call lists but does not seem to help. Someone please make telemarketers stop!
