I use a gmail number to call from Europe to the US. Sometimes my calls show as this number on my friend's caller id. :(

Received two calls from this number today within a few hours, but didn't happen to answer either of them. When I tried calling back, a recording said this was not a valid phone number.

Answered the phone and no one was there. Tried to call the number back and it came up invalid number.

I work in a Government office and cannot answer my cel phone while at work. Sometimes the phone rings and sometimes it does not. The other day I had a missed call on my cel phone from somebody named "Restricted" but my phone was on my person at the time and did not ring at all. I average at least one or two calls from "Restricted" each month--sometimes even more. I have had missed calls from "Restricted" at two and three in the morning--my cel phone sits on my bed stand at night as I have relatives who need to get in touch with me, even at night. Some months ago, I was in a lobby when a call from "Restricted" started ringing. I answered the phone and started to try to talk to whoever was calling me but the phone just continued to ring as if I had never answered it. I strongly suspect that I am being called by more than one or two callers. i accidently came across this number just the other day while working on my cel phone because I found a way that they cannot keep the number hidden. I have received weird calls for almost two years giving phone numbers that appear to be fraudulent numbers. I started recieving calls from "Restricted" shortly after tried to contact some of the revealed phone numbers. Is this a legitimate business or is it "monkey" business?.

I have received calls from a number of area codes I do not know. When I have tried to contact the callers, I have sometimes been informed that I have called a "number that is not in service" or a "number that has been disconnected." How on earth can anybody recieve missed calls from numbers that are not in service or that has been disconnected? Has somebody hacked into the telephone companies' master computers and used such numbers to call people.

A previous correspondent said that this number is being used by people at some type of a rehab facility in Orange County, California. Can anybody explain to me how callers in Orange County, California, can be called from an area code that is located in Texas! Others have noted speaking to people on the line and actually recieving text messages. they have never left me any kind of a message, and the only time I was able to attempt to answer the call the phone continued ringing as If I had never answered. IS THIS HARRASSMENT OR NOT! It may well be a Federal issue since they are involving callers and phone owners who appear to be in different states.
