I signed up for healthcare with UHC a few weeks ago and now the calls from this number won't stop. They never leave a message so I don't call them back. Perhaps if they left a message I would.
Just received a call from this number... a female welcoming me to United Healthcare, and giggling the entire time. Knew my name, which is troubling.
I just got a call from this #. VM It was a welcome call from United Health Care regarding my new plan. Perfectly legit.
"Welcome to United Health Care". They said they wanted to welcome me and to answer any questions about my new coverage. Left 866-660-2187 to call to talk with someone. They said they were open M - F but I got my call on Saturday--strange.
I received same message, however, I never signed up with them or even called them....I'm thinking it's a scam and am going to report it to the state Atty General.
I love this site! Other people's posts really give me the right perspective of unknown calls I receive and help me make the right decision on 'to block or not to block' the ph #. Recently I enrolled in AARP Medicare Complete, so this call may be from them. But at least, they should leave a message!!!!!! because I don't answer if num is not a Contact, and even less if no message is left.
United Healthcare with call welcoming me to their new insurance plan I purchased. Went to VM and caller left a message indicating the same.
It is united health care folks, they recently called me and my sister to welcome us to their insurance and gave us loads of info on our plan. They do not ask for any ss number or anything like that. They are trying to help people and they call from loads of different numbers as they work all over the country.
I missed a call, no message was left. Upon googling the number I found others indicating it was United Healthcare. I recently signed both my parents up for coverage so I called them back. It was a welcome call and to see if there were any questions. This is a legitimate call.
