I have a hosted PBX - I redirected calls from this number to a message that says "Weasels have eaten our phone system", then it plays hold music to them until they hang up.

Clothes for Charity, calls 2x daily, once in morning and once in evening, have asked numerous times to be removed from their list, never effective.

I have blocked their incoming phone calls for at least one year. The message comes on that they are blocked. Yet, twice per day for the last several days, again, they call at about 10am and then just before 9pm. They don't get it! It would be really annoying if my phone actually rang that many times! For early bird workers..9pm is way too late to be calling!

This is correct.

These calls have been ongoing for a year how do I stop them

Like everyone else has said, "They call all the time and don't leave a message."I don't appreciate their approach... regardless of their intentions. I just BLOCKED this number using AT&T's website.Use www.myatt.com and use the icon manage my phone features. Took a moment or two. Hopefully that will work.

As well as all you I also been receiving the annoying calls and decided to look up Clothes For Charity yes they are a for-profit but they are hired to call on behalf of Americas Disabled which is the non profit organization. The first call I made went to voice mail and it said to please leave a name and phone # if you are calling to schedule or cancel a pick up didn't feel comfortable doing that so I kept calling like they did to me and finally a real person answered the phone by the way she was really nice and polite. I asked why she keeps calling my residence every day and she said I do apologize for the inconveniences we have cost to you and your family but we just call asking for donations but if you will like to be removed I will be more and I cut her off and said do you know how many times I have called and asked for that to be done and guess what I still receive a phone call again. She said when you call do you give the number out so we can take it off our calling list because unfortunately I don't have a caller id to see your number and the calls are generated by computer. Like I said before she was a kind person and knew what she was talking about every question that I asked her in regards of the charity she will give me an answer and that is how I knew that Clothes for Charity was not a scam. She even gave me a web site that I could gather further information at Clothes4charity.com that will explain what is clothes for charity and also gave me the page for America's Disabled www.physicianhomevisits.com. You will ask why am defending them after talking with that person I realize they are not a scam. She also mention that if you want to be removed from the calling list all you had to do was call and leave your number and say please remove me. She also said they have started a new system for the customer that don't want to be bother with the continues calls which is an email once a month letting you know when the truck will be in the area and all I will have to do is respond yes or no, I told her that at the moment I was not interested in that services and she said no problem I understand, I kept asking her all types of question which she had the answers, almost at the end of the conversation I asked her for her name and she said Luz and if you have any questions or decide to join us with the email system feel free to call and ask for me I will be more then welcome to assist you on any thing that you will need. Once again if you want to be removed just call and if you have the chance ask for the supervisor.

Day after day..very early morning to well after 8pm in the evening they call. For the last five (5) days...through Christmas Eve now..Please stop annoying everyone in this entire family! Why do you on a daily basis and at all times of the day continue to call the same phone number when you receive no results?????

These people are absolutely obnoxious with the number of phone calls per day and per week. They'll call you before 830am and then call you again after 7pm on the same day. Repeatedly...Day after day...This has been going on all week again...I would NEVER contribute a single item to them just based on this bad behavior.

773-394-7474 ... caller ID says "ILLINOIS CALL" ... don't know who this is, doesn't leave message, I don't answer calls I don't know who they are ! !
