Called my cell phone but left no message. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. I have never had any business with any hospital in Chicago and I don't know anyone who works there.
have a family in the hospital. Got 2 calls from this number.No message. When I returned the call no one knew why they had called. Bizarre.
Asked a lot of questions about the services that we provide but wouldn't give me their name nor address. I got suspicious immediately.
2:24 PM today. I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number. No voice mail was left by the caller.
Got a call on my cell phone today. Was dialing my number. Said they had a wrong number but would not just let go. Male was saying he was calling from a hospital. I asked why. No clear answer. I repeatedly asked who he was trying to reach. No clear answer. Said he was trying to get business or shop. Pushed further and said a place like FedEx. I finally hanged up asfter repeating this was a wrong number. Entire exchange was really weird.
Got two calls to my cell; answered, caller new my name, then we got disconnected. I know several people from Chicago, coincidentally at the UofChicag. They (it) called again 4 hours later but this time I did not answer. Perhaps UofC's database has been hacked?I received other calls like this one a few months ago, but from Utah or Idaho or whatever. Caller asked if I knew how to use a computer, then hung up. This smells like scamorweirdway of collecting information.
