This number kept calling and calling till i finally aswered it and it was asking for a friend of mine whom i have not spoken with in years ,,very spooky and the man did not want to tell me who they were they just hung up

I have been getting random calls from this number at different times throughout an evening. 9p 1am 5:20am. They never leave a message. I picked up one call and noone said anything. I thought I heard someone on the other end but they did not speak. It is unnerving. It comes in as Private Number and when I call back this 7748283686237 number comes up. Very strange that other people are having the same problem. What is going on?

Oh, and yes, I received it on my new iPhone, just got it two days ago. I don't recall ever getting calls from this number on my old phone. Hmmm

The first time I received a call from this number it came up as PRIVATE NUMBER....the person sounding like a Rasta man left a very concise death threat...saying "think carefully about your next action...it may be your last." I have had several calls coming in clumps from this same number...Calling card maybe??? THE POLICE think so...

I literally just got a call from that number and it was a girl and I heard laughing/coughing in the background. When I said "hello, who is this?" she said "What do you mean 'who is this', I'm a female!". I continued asking "who is this?" and "you have the wrong number" but all she replied with was a "Okay... I'm pregnant".Finally, just before she hung up, she said "Okay, I love you, Bye!" This was in the middle of the night. Gotta admit though, she did sound cute XD I should've gone with it and asked for her real number.

My call is a result of a Match.com contact. I was suspicious but I went along with it. Very bad connection and a foreign, maybe Puerto Rican or South American older female voice.Said she was living in the USA but definitely not from that lousy phone connection.

Just got a call from someone who said his name was "Josh Wilson." Wanted to ask me a question. Asked me: "How do you like it?" Uh, not by some loser calling me at THREE IN THE EFFING MORNING. Showed up as "PRIVATE NUMBER," but when I hit redial, I got this and a recording saying that the number is incorrect. Is this a "go-to" number for Sprint when it comes up as a private number, possibly?
