This is a Private Number, as it appears with an iPhone on Sprint. (Look at the keypad of any telephone, 7748283686237 spells "PRIVATENUMBER". It's a leftover glitch from when Sprint got the iPhone that they haven't ironed out yet.

I got a call from the same number, 7748283686237, but it was at around 1130 in the morning, so not a weird hour. Well the caller left a voice mail saying, "This message is for (my full name) this is the police department and we have video of you stealing. We need you to come down to the station immediately to save us all any trouble." Well seeing as there is no real callback number, a contact name, or the specific station I can only assume this is a hoax. Well that along with the fact that I haven't stolen anything. Hopefully someone figures this out. I think I have gotten a call from this number a while ago too, but when I actually answered there was just dead air.

Keep getting these just switched to iphone a month ago. Sprint needs figure this out, sounds like a scam, and/or just some really sick people who need to get a life.

I just got a call in the middle of my work day and it was horrible. It sounded like children were being harmed and there was terrible screaming in the background. It freaked me out because my daughter is on a field trip today. I called Sprint and reported it and they said if it happens again call law enforcement. I think your phone company can block the number if you call them. They took it very seriously. I wouldn't be surprised if whoever it is gets their jollys by reading our comments. Sickening!

***Attention Sprint Owners***If this is a glitch with Sprint then they need to fix it! I suggest we call them and put heat on them to figure this out our we will switch phone companies. After reading that this number is just spelling out "private number" on the keypad, it really ticked me off. The cell towers are receiving the signal and switching it to this number. They can trace who it is and put a stop to it and they need to do this. If they don't, I will switch all my phones to a new company!

I just got a call from #. They say nothing only breath on phone. But after reading all these complaints next time they call saying I owe me I'll just tell them that impossible cuz I'm a hired hit man & only deal with cash or better yet a drug dealer who pays cash for everything including tracking them just for fun

from 774-828-6986-237 HAs been calling me for the past few days.... a woman asking me who am I? I said uh... you called me who are you looking for? She again asked who is this, i said look you called me so who are you looking for... she hung up! So now they just keep calling and hanging up on me..... Really???? I know some people are unemployed but find something else to do........

Just got a call from these people. Very weird.... I didnt pick up as I thought it was someone disguising their number, and plus the number is obviously not a regular 10 digit phone numberI just changed my number too, I CONSTANTLY get phone calls from random numbers all the time!!! Very frusterating!!!!Hope they don't have my info either or anything, and I hope they don't call me backWho can we report this to???I know sprint has an option on their account preferences online where you can forward certain numbers directly to the voicemail

ok, just got a phone call from 774-828-3686 237 is how it showed up on my cell phone ID...unknown.He Said, " This is Verizon, did you noticed we over charged you last month?" I said, "No", He said, "Really? I said, "This is not Verizon!" He said, "How do you know that?" I said, " Verizon doesnt call me!" Good Bye!!! and hung up on them.
