called twice in a row, sent to voicemail 9:31 pm then again at 9:33pm central

Just got a call from 777-777-7777 and answered out of curiosity. Heavily accented woman (sounded like she learned English by listening to Steven Hawking's automated voice) asked if I was the lady of the house. Said from S?? Survey...asked about allergies, dogs, cats, house: own or rent, employed/retired, first name...I can't put my finger on what the scam is behind the questions...she said that for answering the questions my name would be put into daily draw for a prize..I am assuming my "prize" will be something I have to pay the taxes on or pay to have shipped...(credit card number please?) ..I will let you know if I hear from them again...

i got a call from that no !! i didnt answer as i thought there is something wrong in the call!!

At about 12:26am EST I received a call from this 777-777-7777 number. I was awakened out of a deep sleep, when I answered, the was silence, so I asked again, "Hello, who is this?" It was a little disturbing because the voice sounded mechanical, it said, "Sherry" it was almost like a child's voice, but mechanical. I asked again, "Who is this? Who are you looking for." and again it was that strange voice. I hung up and went to go back to sleep, but I put on my glasses to see who called and it was that phone number. 777-777-7777. I was very disturbed by this. Has anyone else had this experience?

One call every day this week. Does not leave a message.

Also, I am not a Yahoo user, nor due any of my friends or business associates use Yahoo. Very creepy.

I recently signed up for a Yahoo service (Yahoo Voice Out) which allows you to make calls from your PC. I phoned my cell to see what an incoming call would look like, as the sevice I have is only for making outgoing calls, so there would be no return number. The number which showed up was +17777777777, so I would expect anyone getting calls from this number would be getting them from a yahoo subscriber / someone else using a similar service.

me too got a call but didnt answered as it looked weird. was too curious so i searched here. It seems some one called from yahoo msnger.
