Am receiving unwanted phone calls for the number: 777-777-7777. I know this must be a scam of some kind. Offering free "grant" money from the U. S. Government. Sure. This kind of thing needs to be monitored and shut down immediately.
Got two calls from this number! I pick up, stay silent and they just hang up!! It makes me mad! Why do scam callers or telemarketers hang up?! Seriously!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!
Some indian guy called asking to speak to my husband at 9:17. Telemarketers are not allowed to call after 9:00. I told him no he could not and don't call again. We don't know anyone from India, and I really wouldn't want to now with all these stupid scam calls. I'm sick of these stupid scammers attempting to get information. They are scum.
Got a call at 9:15 tonight. Have seen this number call several times, and recognizing it as a phony number, never answered. But tonight I decided to find out who it was. It was an election call wanting us to vote for John S Fotopoulos for Judge in Cook County. Told the telemarketer I was disgusted with the frequent calls, and would vote for his opponent. I intend to tell that to all electioneering callers. I know that they are allowed under do-not-call laws, but if they result in negative results, maybe politicians will stop the practice.
My husband and I both received calls on our cell phones today 5-27-15 from the number 777-7. Is this just a spoofed number? Neither one of us answered it.
Received the call at 4:15 a.m. on a Saturday. Thinking it an emergency and not wearing my glasses, I answered and heard a heavy accent say, "Hello? Caroo?" I replied, "Honey, you have the wrong number AND IT'S 4:00 IN THE MORNING!" He said, "Oh, sorry." Then he terminated the call.
These people keep calling wanting computer info. Today I told him "did what you said, blood everywhere, gotta go. Will see if they call back.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.
