regarding a care accident that was NOT True!

Calling about a car accident / illegal immigrants / ransom--it's not true. I didn't give him any money but I prayed with him! Crazy what people will do for money these days!

Yes, this number just called about my son or husband in a car accident. I have neither so they switched to daughter. What's her name they said? I said what state and the answer was wrong. Phooey on prank calls.

I received crazy call from a foreign accent stating bad car accident with my son and they need money to pay for damaged car. NOT TRUE...

They said my dad was in a car accident & was told to call me. Long story short theySaid they had a gun to his head & wanted $. I called the police.

Called by someone with foreign accent about my brother in bad accident, bleeding and needing help and asked for them to call me. He said they took him to their apartment since he did not have insurance and demanded money to pay for repairs. Would not give me address where my brother was being held. Family member located my brother and found story to be untrue, Police were called. Person wanted me to get in car and follow his directions. Conversation turned to killing him if I did not get them money. Told him the police were here now and have confirmed this is a scam - he abruptly hung up.

Received call from that number said my son or brother was in a accident and couldn't speak. Wanted me to say name of relative I said go ask them and he hung up. Was wondering how that got my number if unable to speak.

Got a call this a.m. from this no. Asked if I had a son or brother who might be on the road...that they gave my number to call and say they had been in an accident. I told them I was hanging up & calling my daughter-in-law. Of course, my son was at home. I then called the police to report it. Don't know where they got my number.

I also asked what kind of car, which the caller couldn't answer. I asked where they were, and the caller just gave the name of my city. I hung up and checked on my relatives. All were fine.
