It’s the text confirmation for dr offices. If you don’t have an appt scheduled they probably keyed in wrong numbet

I got the same text as TS. Since it comes from Florida, likely to be a scam. I will ignore it.

Got a text from this number. It said text to confirm appt with Jerry Durham and the date. Since I live at least a 1000 miles from this area code I just deleted it.

I received a text from this # and did not recognized so I keyed into google. Found out that its probably a scam. My text said confirm appt. with Domingo Gonzalez. I will delete and block this number!

Same as the others, a text to confirm an appointment with a person whose name I didn't immediately recognize. I also live very far away from the area code in Florida. It turns out it was a specialist (doctor) that another office had made an appointment with on my behalf. I checked the other names people have left in the comments here and those names all come up in the medical field. So, google the name you're sent and see if it is a doctor that specializes in a medical condition you've had recently.

This if used by my medical office. Its a number used by their electronic medical records system that sends automatic text reminders. I am in Oklahoma and its a Florida number that the auto text comes from. Not a scam!

Got the same text about confirming an appointment. The area code has nothing to do about where they are at. Our Church uses a service that comes out of Oklahoma for our calling post and we are in Georgia. My hunch is this number is a collection company that is trying to make contact with you and to see if your phone is a good number. If you reply back, then that allows them to continue to collect (harass) you for a longer period because in the eyes of the law, you are in negotiations with them. Don't reply back!

Left message that I had an appointment with Dr. Brown on 10-24 and to confirm or call telephone number to cancel. I have no Dr. Appointment nor do I have a dr. Named brown. Deleted.
