They called me and left a message. Kate from Miami Loves Dating Service said they setup a date for me tonight and that she would be waiting at SW 53rd Place and told me to wear something fancy as usual. I looked up the number out of curiosity since I have never been to Miami and have never contacted this dating service either and this is what I found.
Apparently, this number belongs to a bakery in Miami. Some guy named Tim left a message saying that the cookies I ordered should be delivered by now and that he included a list of ingredients that I should "read very carefully." I never ordered any cookies. And even if I did, why would I order them all the way from Miami?
"Hi it's 'Don' from Hotel Blue, we need you tonight! Our receptionist went home due to stomach problems... And we have some VIPs who'll be staying with us today! Make sure you give them a great stay... That will be your top priority this evening! Now get going!"Stop, I have no self control.
Ugh, stupid prank calls in the middle of the night... I've never even heard of a Hotline Miami dating service..

They are claiming to be a police service and wanted me to click a link to get a survey - this is clearly a scam.
I've been getting multiple calls a day from this number, and the phone has never rung long enough to go to my voicemail, so I'll NEVER answer it. What's interesting is that the number is registered in the small town I was born in 70 years ago!
