Someone called from 800-238-2747 and left a voice message saying "Hello Mrs. *** (a last name that isn't mine), this is *** with ADT. I'm sorry that we got cut off. Please call me back at 800-238-2727 and we'll be happy to help you."I called back because 1) I don't want my number to be erroneously linked to an account that isn't mine, and 2) I wanted to make sure that the actual customer got the call she was waiting for. The CSR asked for my name and address and wouldn't remove my number from the account without them. If this really is an ADT number, they need to teach their associates not to act like scam artists trying to fish information out of non-customers.

Call came in at 3:41P.M. on February 9, 2026. No spoken message was left. I checked the missed call box that read not in service. I checked the phone and there was a dial tone. I assumed the call was a scam.

I received a package from a rigging company in New York with my name and address but this phone number as my contact number.
Looking for a person (that was not me) about a legal matter.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
