Amica calls repeatedly because they have the post office send them a notice if an address is changed. I had my mail going to a family member to handle, and they call me every few months inquiring about the address change although I explained it to them several times. The last explanation included a note that I will be changing insurance carriers. I switched to Amica a couple of years ago, but the same insurance went from $390 to $650. I did not realize it at the time, but the extra cost is another reason I will be switching. To Dustin & Buddy Not everybody has a cushy life, even those with college degrees and those that help others with their meager earnings. You all just lucked out, but there are no promises in this life. Watch your mouth & thoughts, that cushy life could turn into one similar to those you are bad-mouthing/looking down at. Look how many very-well-paid people are now in prison, it can happen to anyone.
Don't be fooled by the comments on this site praising Amica. I hope they're true, and I'm glad some people may have had a good experience with Amica. But that's not been true for me. I am extremely unhappy with their rates and service. My advice: stay away from Amica.I didn't answer the call I got today from this number--I guess they were doing a follow-up to explain why my homeowners premium went up by almost 20% even though I've never filed a claim with them.
