Repeated calls in the evening...nuisance calls about political marketing.

This number has been calling my landline, today I decided to pick up and see who these people are, dead air at the other end of the line. My phone rings from 9am to 9pm with spammers and scammers, it too bad that the do not call list means NOTHING.

I block ALL 800- numbers, they are just as bad as the rest of the ROBO-TRASH!!!

Received a call from the 800-251-5850. I let my answering machine pick it up. No sound just dead air.If they repeat calling I have a trick that drives them crazy. I call them back, cuss them out and hang up, then I hit redial and do it again. I have done this over 30 times til they beg me to stop calling. It works ! !

Been receiving several calls a day from 800-251-5850. I just called them back and got a recording that says they are a marketing research company that conducts political and marketing research surveys. Recording says if the call is unwanted, you may tell the interviewer when they call next time to remove your number from their call list. Since they are marketing, they are not subject to the Do Not Call list.

called me at 7:15PM. Call disconnected when I answered. Yes I too am on the Do Not Call registry. The DNC registry only stops telemarketers. Charities, Political Party surveys, Political Party campaign advertising, are all exempt from the Do Not Call list. You DO however have the option to request your number be dropped from their individual database. Unfortunately, many of these calls employ people who have very thick skin so yelling or intimidation is pointless.

Got multiple calls this evening from this number. First call asked for a women by name. the following four calls were hang-ups when I answered.
