You are wrong Medco does Telemarket!! they try to get you to Mail Order PHX through them, They are bound to "Do Not Call" After you tell them not to call. If they continue to call after that you can sue them for 500-1500 PER CALL AFTER THE FACT!!!

Call and ask for David Snow. (201) 269-3400 They have been calling me 3-4 times a day. I think its over, now that I talked to one of their attorney's named Joe Galardi. You can also call him at 201-269-5230. Also you can file a complaint with the FCC. Google "Fcc 1088 form" and you can fill it out online. I did that also but mainly becuase one of the customer service people threatend me becuase I called back a few times to get them to stop calling me!! Anyway goodluck. I think we should all form a class action suit. with the fine $500-1500 per call and they a are calling peolpe 2-5 times a day it would add up fast. Any lawyer would jump on the case seeing how the only evidence we would need would come from the phone company. With no opening or closing statement Just give the jury the phone records. LOL slamdunk case!!!

I've been receiving calls from 800-282-2881 for what seems like months now, usually about twice a day. The message on my answering machine is just a silence, then a click and that three-tone error thing followed by the woman saying "if you'd like to make a call," blah blah blah. I'm on the phone with MedCo right now, they said that this is not their number. I found one website that associates the 800-282-2881 number with General Motors employees. My dad was a car dealer, so I'm hoping that's the connection. But the customer service people are totally clueless!! I'm on hold for a manager. FYI, Bell South won't block the number.

Google search reveals MEDCO pestering me again.

This number calls my "Do Not Call" phone once or twice a day! I don't answer.

Who are these dopes who call my "Do not call" phone twice a day? I'd like to reach through the phone and ring their necks.

The number belongs to. Medco doesn't telemarket, hence they arent bound by the Do Not call list. Most likely you have in the past or are currently (most likely) doing busines with Medco and they are trying to reach you about your benifits or accounts. The DO NOT CALL list does nto apply to business or organization with which you have a previous or on going business relationship (so that carpet cleaner you used last spring? They Can telemarket you unless you specifically ask them not to).

I've been receiving and answering these calls twice daily lately and no one answers my "hello, hello HELLO etc." so this time I started breathing really heavily like a perve call and they hung up. I use Medco and am disgusted to think they would keep calling and pestering me to answer the damn phone and then not be on the other end.

After posting I emailed Medco about the answerless calls. The reply was they keep records of all customer contact and there was no record of these. They did not respond about whether the number was theirs. I received another answerless call minutes before their response. It is unlikely someone who is not an idiot will recognize and respond to my reminding them I am attempting to resolve the problem and protect them from liability in a friendly way.
