Received an official looking letter today claiming to be a distraint warrant for non payment of taxes. Claims I owe $47,856 in back taxes to the "Federal Tax Authorities". To avoid enforcement, I should call this number or Levying procedures will begin in 15 days. Local Sheriff's office says these are scams. Received a similar letter yesterday, same claims but different number to call to avoid enforcement.
