Robo call

This is TD Bank recoveries. They are very rude. They keep leaving voicemails on my cell phone for the man that apparently had the phone number prior to me. When I called to let them know this wasn't his phone number I was informed they would have to verify with their customer.Yeah good luck with that idiots, there is a reason he doesn't have this number anymore and you are looking for him. They said they can't access records by a cell phone and they will continue to call my phone looking for Joseph Avillar.

same message..X 4890 is in fact TD Banknorth.why they are calling ,me is a mystery.

similar situation... An automated call with callerid of 'unavailable'. Says it is personal matter and to call 1-800-354-9769. Apparently calling for person who had number previously because we don't have account with TD Bank. Finally got a guy who said that he had removed the number. When I complained about no callerid, etc., he said it was Government requirement!!! I am trying to find the HQ for TD Bank to file BBB complaint on this kind of 'unbusinesslike' approach.

I got a call from this number this morning & let my answering machine take it since the caller id showed as "Unknown Caller." They left a message for my teenage son, saying it was from TD Bank, and left a number 800-354-9769. They said it was for a "personal business matter." I called my local bank to ask them about my son's account & that number -- they said that while they do have companies that do surveys for them, none of them say it's "a personal business matter" & said this must be a scam. Needless to say we're not going to return this call.

This is TD Bank collections dept. if you get a call from this number you owe them money on a default acct or are in arrears. If you don't have an acct with them than call them and tell them that. It s a legit number for td bank
