If you receive a letter in the mail from "RBC" stating they are from the security department of "RBC" and that they need to finalize your file do not call them! Their letter states that they have tried several times to contact me by phone and that if i do no respond my card will be suspended. Well they have not tried to contact me by phone as my call id would indicate that just for starters and as well I do not have any file with them regarding security of my card. They want your personal information and will even try to get you to give them the three digits on the back of your card.

I just received a call from this number. They asked for the security number on the back, and all kinds of other junk. They said they would give me no information. i called visa directly and it is on the up and up. it is a visa number and even the visa number on the back of your visa card they ask you for the three digits also. they confirmed the same information. this is a legitimate visa number, no worries.

Today I received call from this number. The agent impersonates as RBC Security departmenta representative, leaves this number to return call, her name an my 4-digits would be file number.I called to the number, provided on the back of my Visa card to verify. They confirmed, that the number in question is real RBC security department.

This is a legitimate number. I called Visa to confirm if it was a legitimate # since they asked for the 3 digit security code off the back and Visa confirmed it was the direct number to the security department.

If this number calls you.. You want to make sure you call them back or the number at the back of your Visa card.. I just had mine used for some online shopping fraud. I called the number on the back of my card instead for my own peace of mind but this number is legit. They were swift and I appriciate that, for the purchases were just made today.

i work for rbc visa security and 800-361-0152 is the direct toll free # for the security department. when we leave messages to our clients, or if they do not feel secure with our call, we gladly invite them to call the # on the back of their card.if your caller id displays 514-392-9167 and we don't give that #, it is because our office is located in montreal and it would just be a long distance call for most clients.when you receive a letter, that means we DID attempt reaching you several times. either you are too stubborn and ignore our messages or your contact info is not up to date. so why not CALL THE # ON THE BACK OF YOUR CARD ALREADY! lol :P

did you call visa yet? when you get phone calls or letters from rbc visa, why don't you just stop and think.. "hmm.. maybe there IS something wrong with my account. doesn't hurt to make sure.." and call the one number you know FOR SURE is legit: THE ONE ON THE BACK OF YOUR CARD!if you REALLY never got calls, maybe the phone number on your file is not up to date.. doesn't hurt to check on that once in a while too..
