they told me i was a good customer with penny mac and qualified for a lower interest rate and wanted to send me some info on my email but had to ask me some questions . 1 was what is my interest rate ? i said if they were from penny mac why are they asking they would already know that and they hung up on me . was a person with a accent .

An Urgent Notice with this number and US BANK's logo was left on my friends door, It does come up in a search as being one of U.S. banks customer service numbers, but I've heard of these being dead air numbers, and that it is an attempt to collect a debt.

It is us bank. Called at 930 pm, which is illegal. Maybe they should check their records considering mortgage was paid. Good thing I wasn't in bed yet as I wake up at 430 am. Worst company ever.

Says it's from US Bank about my home mortgage modification. I don't have an account with them, or a mortgage. Caller ID listed number as "800 365-7772", call back number stated was "855 698-7627". ** I suspect a phishing scam to obtain info for identity theft. **

Called me at work to "collect a debt," except, as with B above, my payment is always early. Maybe they should monitor whoever is doing the posting.

This is the customer service number for U.S. Bank Home Mortgage. (I just had a call with a legitimate question regarding our mortgage.) We have been doing business with this bank for more than 20 years and have been more than happy with their services...and our mortgage rate of 2.67%!

So why did you look this number up, if you already know it's legitimate"?

They call from this number but the foreign person has another call back number. He said I had to pay my escrow account before my modification . Sounded phishy.
