Ashley Furniture Delivery

This is the 3rd call from this company in two month time period

A little research points to Ashley Furniture, with whom we have a current order, but it called at 8 am and no one was there so I will be complaining.

Thank goodness I googled this number and found this...I placed an order at Ashley Furniture and the delivery was set for July 6th and this number has called me twice but when leaving a message, its blank. I just called the number and it was in fact Ashley Furniture and it was an operator wanting to confirm my delivery...glad I called, wonder what would have happened if I never called that number back

Your delivery would have been cancelled. They left message on my cell phone but when I am at home, I do not even look at my cell phone. So they cancelled the delivery. I have rec'd furniture deliveries from 4 other furniture stores and none of them required me to call them and confirm the delivery. The others just call and leave message with a 4 hour window. So it is a very good thing you called!

glad i googled it too ... i usually do when i dont recognize a number ... got a call early this morning, was not up to answer it, NO message was left ... if you have a scheduled ashley delivery, make sure you call this number back, its an automated system to "pre-confirm" your delivery date ... the system could at least leave a message!!

The same thing just happened to me! They called at 8:00 am or so, but the reception in my house is awful so I hung up, thinking they would call again. I'm glad I found this post! I called back and was able to confirm my delivery, thank goodness!

This happened to me as well - this morning (Sunday) at 8:00 when I was outside. No message was left, and when I called back an automated response said they were closed today and to call back Monday-Saturday. We were told they would call yesterday (Saturday) to confirm, so we waited all day but we never received the call. Our delivery is set for Monday (tomorrow), but now that I missed their call at a day/time I wasn't expecting, and was not able to return the call because they are closed today, will my shipment be cancelled - after I took off work to be here for it!? We shall see..

They've apparently learned; the robot does now leave a message (as of a few minutes ago) explaining what is going to happen and inviting you to call back if you want to reschedule.
