I have a charge from NMX*NEWSMAX MAGAZIN800-x4350 FLUS for $12.95 that I did not authorize nor recognize. I've contacted my bank who told me to dispute it with Newsmax. It took some searching to even find Newsmax's phone number since the complete number does not show on my bank statement. I will be going to the bank in the morning to put a fraud alert on my account and probably get a new card. Due to the low amount I'm not sure they will turn it over to the police. I know a former policeman and will check with him as to following up with the police. They didn't call me, and I've never called them. I do not have anything concerning them on any computer not phone. I am NOT a happy camper!!!

This 800-485-4350 number is one of the worst numbers to call. They're NEWSMAG Magazine (currently advertising on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory). They entice callers by giving away free junk (radios & subscriptions to magazines). What you really get! Is on a permanent junk mail and telemarketing list. DO NOT CALL 800-485-4350, PUT IT IN YOUR BLOCKED CALLER LIST. Tell your friends, and loved ones never to call 1-800-NEWSMAX.

Didn't get a call from'em but I did get billed on my credit card for a subscription renewal that I never had in the first place? Somehow they have gotten my credit card number and have charged me for a sub I din't have and don't want. Now I got to go thru the BS of contacting my card company to dispute these fradulent charges.

I have had the same thing happen to me on Christmas day. I am disputing this charge. I hope my bank cooperates.

I was charged $99.00 on my checking account through my debit card by these vultures. I have my bank and the police working on it. Maybe we can help getting them closed down, but I am not holding my breath.

I was startled to see this $99 charge posted when I checked my account online. It's the same company. Getting ready to call them now. I had had an earlier one from same company which was a very small amount so I thought I'd cancel it as soon as I could get around to it, but this $99 is too high to ignore for even one day! I wonder how much the next charge would be if I ignored this one?! The earlier poster's mention of police and bank worries me. I'm optimistically assuming they will cancel it as soon as I cal and tell them they've made a mistake. :)

was oftered a sum of money for my checking a coupon ofter I received on my net mail I gave the girl my name and address she told me I could cancel out if I excepted her offer and gave me the number to call as 800 485 4350 I than hung-up. I hope I don;t hear from tham again.I tried calling the number later and was told the number was no longer active.

I received a charge on my visa card for something I did not authorize. I am on hold with them right now and have been on hold for about 10 mins. I don't know where they got my visa card number but they will be reported as stealing my information. I really don't think they will ans. at all but I have them on speaker and I will see how much longer I have to wait.
