Humana should be stopped!

800-579-4916 is NOT Humana... I had just moved to another state 1000 miles away and I had just put in a call to Humana regarding Humana in my new state... So, after I verified DOB, new address, my Humana Account Number, SSN, MMN (Mother's Maiden Name), health issues, what medications I take, etc. they told me that I would be assigned a personal nurse who would be calling me shortly... I really needed my medications refilled, including my Insulin, filled asap... Stat!... Guess what: No nurse called me! No big surprise!! Meanwhile, I am very ill... To them, I am not worthy of getting the help I need...

human calling again. says toll free caller. I cannot tell you how many times I have called them to tell them to knock off the calls. If I need any help I will call them. I think at the first of the year I am going to change my insurance. This is almost on the verge of harrasment

They identify themselves as Humana and say that as part of my insurance I am entitled to a home care person to contact for any questions regarding meds. home care. etc..Told them I have my doctor and his nurse and any questions I have they can answer for me and not interested. Told her there was no reason to pay another person and then increase my premium.

What is this, really? Anyone? I called Humana and they were not forthcoming with any information (like confirming this is a scam). Here is the text of the voicemail left! How bold! "Hi. Sorry we missed you. I am calling today from your Medicare -approved health plan at Humana. I have some great news to share with you about your Humana’s home care management, a service you have as part of your current plan and it’s available to you at no additional cost. Please call us back at 800 579 4916. You also can call tdd 711. We are available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm EST. Again that toll free number is 1 800 579 4916. Thank you for your interest in Humana. We look forward to speaking with you soon."

Well it is 8:05 in the morning and it is Humana telling me the same message as posted above (via message machine, I do not answer 800 numbers) it was automated so who calls old people at this time in the morning. God they call all the time wether I need it or not maybe they think we are lonely and need someone to talk to. Thank for letting me vent.
